Just replying - got the navigator a few months back and I use it no problem on a XP notebook -really good at cuting down keystrokes and you can get on with modelling.
Wow, sorry it doesn't work for you. I've been using the 3Dconnexion on OS 10.5.x since June and found a huge improvement in my productivity. It helps me avoid carpal tunnel problems. It even works with Snow Leopard - Now that's something to avoid like the plague!
